A simple raita with onion and tomato, served with pulao and biriyani.
Ingredients:
1 cup thick curd / greek yogurt
1 large onion, finely chopped
1 large tomato, finely chopped
2 green chillies, finely chopped
2-3 sprigs coriander leaves, chopped
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Whisk the curd using a wire whisk until smooth.
2. Add onion, tomato, green chillies, coriander leaves, salt and mix well.
3. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes:
1. You can also add 1/4 tsp cumin powder.
2. Use curd that is fresh. If its sour, add little sugar and whisk the curd.
