Dry Fruits and Nuts Barfi

Ingredients

dried figs
1
cup
dates
⅓
cup
pistachios
chopped
¼
cup
almonds
chopped
¼
cup
cashews
chopped

tsp
ghee
½
tsp
cardamom powder
Instructions
Dry roast the nuts over medium flame for about 2-3 minutes or until nice aroma comes. Set aside.
Soak the figs in hot water for 10 minutes. Drain well and blend it a food processor or blender to a smooth paste. Set aside.
Remove the seeds of dates and blend it to a coarse paste or chop them up roughly. Set aside.
In a pan heat ghee and add the fig paste. Cook it over medium heat for 3-4 minutes. Then add the dates and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Then add the roasted nuts, cardamon powder and combine well. Cook for one minute and remove from heat.
Transfer the contents to a greased tray or pan. Grease the bottom of a steel bowl or glass and press the mixture evenly.
Allow it to cool a bit and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes. Cut them into squares or your desired shape.
